Design and set-up of data aquisition networks

 

                                                                                                 

The aquisition of measured data from several remote points, needs a communication network design for all the devices of the network, measurement devices and server PC as well. According to the distance between the devices there are different communication solutions. Short distances, up to a few hundred meters, communication will be covered over radio frequencies in hundred MHz bands. For longer distances , up to 10km we can use high power modems. For applications running remote over bigger distances, the networks will be based on the infrastructure of mobile phone network providers.

We can design various types of aquisition networks, based on low consumption and few pre-programmed interrogations (battery supplied power), or grid power supplied networks with continious interrogations.
